The store is located attached to the central library and adjacent to the main concourse in Citi Plaza. For February 2024 our scheduled bookstore hours are Monday, Tuesday and Saturday 10:00am – 4:00pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10:00am – 5:00pm. We are closed on Sundays. NB! We are closed on Family Day Monday 19th February.
New donations of material can be made to the store, and you can also drop off donations to our warehouse which is attached to the Byron Branch library at 1295 Commissioners Rd. West on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m.to 1:00 p.m. We ask that materials be packed into small boxes or bags for ease of handling.
We can collect donations of books, CD’s, DVD’s and other saleable material. Should you wish to donate material please leave us a voicemail at 519-661-2448 and one of our volunteers will contact you.
Managed and operated by Friends of the Library volunteers, all proceeds from sales are donated to the London Public Library, supporting enhancements of services. The Friends Book Store sells new and gently used books, CDs, DVDs, audio books and more. There are over 7,000 different items to choose from, including fiction, non-fiction and children’s materials. New inventory arrives weekly. The Library Store’s special promotions are advertised at the store.
If you have new or gently used books you no longer want, why not donate them to Friends? Small quantities may be dropped off at our book store adjacent to the Central Library in Citi Plaza. If you have a large quantity, please use our Contact page to arrange for a pick-up or more information.

- Encyclopedias & textbooks more than 5 years old
- Older news magazines
- Any material copied from originals
